Duhart Company was established in 1969 under the leadership of Ray Hartsoe, initially representing a single soil pipe manufacturer. Through strategic growth, leadership continuity, and industry evolution, the agency has expanded into a full-service manufacturers’ representative firm.
Today, Duhart Company is led by its partners, whose collective experience spans sales, operations, and market development across the plumbing and HVAC industries. This leadership foundation continues to guide the company’s growth and commitment to its manufacturing partners.

Our Philosophy

Craig Carpenter brings more than 30 years of experience in the plumbing and heating industry and over 25 years with Duhart Company. Craig joined Duhart in 1997 and became a Partner in 2019. He oversees the Maryland and Delaware markets and plays a key role in guiding the company’s overall strategy and manufacturer partnerships.

Eric Woody has more than 16 years of experience in the plumbing and heating industry. He joined Duhart Company in 2011 and became a Partner in 2019. Eric leads the company’s sales and marketing initiatives and works closely with manufacturers and customers throughout Northern Virginia, Washington D.C., and West Virginia to support growth and market development.

Christopher White brings more than 40 years of experience in the plumbing and heating industry. He joined Duhart Company in 1988 and became a Partner in 2016. Chris oversees operations and manages the Southern Virginia territory, while also supervising the Richmond office and inside sales team.
